Last week we successfully conducted a live demo session for one of our clients in the UK with synchronous presentations of effective practice and applications of SMS’ Integrated Flow Assurance Package (IFAP). 1kg of 900 microns of sand was injected into the control flow environment coupled with a flowmeter. A strong signal has been reflected on an acoustic sand detector which was mounted on the same flowline as shown in the picture.
